Key Responsibilities:
- Certify products in accordance with established certification procedures.
- Examine assemblies and finishes to detect faults, damage, or deterioration.
- Conduct intermediate inspections and monitor product certification operators.
- Complete and verify all manufacturing data pack paperwork.
- Segregate defective items and maintain detailed defect reports.
- Produce quality control documentation and history sheets.
- Utilise and maintain specialised inspection tools.
- Maintain product certification and approval through regular audits.
- Ensure compliance with all manufacturing process procedures.
- Meet inspection deadlines while upholding superior workmanship standards.
- Contribute to process improvements and maintain a safe, tidy work environment.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 or HNC).
- Several years of skilled experience in a related field.
- IPC 610 certification/training is preferred.
