A leading manufacturing company in Greater Manchester are looking for an Interim Production Manager to join them for an initial 9 months contract.
Due to a growth this position is required to support other members of the senior management team grow the operation during a sustained period of growth.
The main focus of the role will be to:
- Oversee a production workforce of over 100 permanent and temporary operatives via a Team Leader and Shift Manager structure
- Manage the roll out of core training program across the teams
- Develop SOPs and structure for creating new ones
- Review and develop all weekly and daily production meetings
- Work on training and upskilling all tiers of production management
To be considered for this position you will need to have proven experience in a senior production management role with extensive people management and development. Experience in a medium-high volume production environment is required as is previous successful completion of interim assignments.
This assignment is determined inside IR35 and rates quoted are Umbrella rates incorporating employment costs. The position is site based 5 days a week.
