Are you a Electrical Maintenance Engineer or have an FMCG background and want to progress to a senior Project Engineer role, with autonomy, and be the go-to Project Engineer within a long-standing, reputable food manufacturer?

Are you looking to become the go-to Project Engineer an integral part of the company leading by example in the development and improvement of the site and shops and Managing the engineering team to ensure that mechanical or electrical issues on PLCs and other machinery's resourced and effectively?

In this role, you will be you will work alongside the Engineering Manager, managing resources, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will also be responsible for leading a team of engineers, ensuring that mechanical and electrical issues on PLCs and other automated machinery are effectively resolved.

As a go-to Project Engineer, you will work within a close-knit team, ensuring a variety of projects are completed to budget and within the time constraints required with a background in Engineering, you will be identifying improvements to current and future ways of working utilizing your extensive best practice "Engineering Knowledge"

The position would suit a person with an electrical engineering background in Project Engineering who has led a team of engineers and is capable of leading and developing sites and being a cultural member of the development team.

The Role:

  • Managing staff to efficiently maximize resources.
  • Ensure that staff are working if to the correct standard.
  • Working with the Engineering Manager to ensure preventative maintenance takes place on equipment
  • Hands-on


The Person:

  • Ability to project manage with timeframes and budgets.
  • Managed a team of Engineers and Technical staff.
  • Worked within FMCG
  • Good attention to detail
  • Knowledge in PLC
