I am currently recruiting for a Accounts/Office Administrator for my well established and locally based manufacturing client based in Westhoughton. This is a varied role that encompasses all aspects of the office and would suit someone who enjoys learning new skills and working as part of a team.

The role will involve:
- Being in charge of the credit control for approx 250 live accounts.
- Chasing outstanding accounts via telephone and email - logging all calls.
- Credit checking new accounts, setting credit limits and inputting the new client accounts onto the system.
- Cash allocation to customer accounts.
- Taking payment's and preparing the daily banking.
- Account and statement reconciliations.
- Issuing copy invoices, monthly statements and final demands
- Liaising with the sales and warehouse regarding disputed invoices and payments.
- Assisting with purchasing stock, stock reconciliations and sourcing the best prices where possible.
- Assisting in the sales department - raising quotes, advising on delivery times, inputting orders.
We are looking for someone who has at least 12 months recent work experience within credit control and sales ledger and lives within a commutable distance of Westhoughton. Someone able to work on their own initiative with a clear, professional telephone manner.
