HLTA - Bolton:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced and dedicated HLTA to join one of our lovely schools in Bolton. The successful candidate will have previous experience as a HLTA and be able to lead lessons in the teacher's absence. They should have an excellent understanding of the general curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing specific support and interventions for KS2 students across all curriculum areas
Preparing resources and areas within the setting
Assisting in the daily activities in the classroom
Working with individuals on learning and development activities
Liasing with parents and other staff members when needed

Position Details:

Location: Bolton
Position: HLTA
Hours- 8:15am-3:45pm
Full time/part time: Full time only
Minimum rate of pay: 100 per day
Type of work: Temporary
Start date: Jan 2025
End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Team Teach qualification would be highly desirable
Previous experience working as a HLTA is essential
Level 3 or higher Teaching Assistant Qualification
Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
