Housing Options Officer
Location: Bolton | Contract Type: Temporary | Hourly Rate: 15.24

Are you passionate about helping individuals and families find their housing solutions? Our client is seeking a dedicated Housing Options Officer to join their team and make a difference in the community!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive housing advice and support to homeless households and those in housing need.
Conduct assessments, develop case plans, and offer prevention and relief assistance.
Advocate for vulnerable customers, liaising with external agencies for effective support.
Undertake home visits to assist with preventing homelessness.
Maintain excellent communication to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in taking homeless presentations and assessments under the Housing Act 1996, as amended by the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
Strong understanding of housing needs, homelessness issues, and relevant legislation.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
A collaborative spirit with a track record of securing positive outcomes in complex cases.

Contract Details:

Start Date: 4th March 2025
End Date: 31st March 2025
Full-time hours.
