Housing Options Officer
Location: Bolton | Contract Type: Temporary | Hourly Rate: 15.24

Are you passionate about helping individuals and families find their housing solutions? Our client is seeking a dedicated Housing Options Officer to join their team and make a difference in the community!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive housing advice and support to homeless households and those in housing need.
  • Conduct assessments, develop case plans, and offer prevention and relief assistance.
  • Advocate for vulnerable customers, liaising with external agencies for effective support.
  • Undertake home visits to assist with preventing homelessness.
  • Maintain excellent communication to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in taking homeless presentations and assessments under the Housing Act 1996, as amended by the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
  • Strong understanding of housing needs, homelessness issues, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • A collaborative spirit with a track record of securing positive outcomes in complex cases.

Contract Details:

Start Date: 4th March 2025
End Date: 31st March 2025
Full-time hours.
