Accounts Assistant & Payroll | Bolton | £28,000-£32,000 | Flexible Working Hours | 25 Days plus Bank HolidaysAxon Moore are pleased to be partnering with a fantastic SME near Bolton as they look to recruit a Accounts Assistant who is looking to take ownership of transactional duties and add value to the business.This role will be well suited to experienced and charismatic Accounts Assistant who are incredibly organised and boast a fun, outgoing personality with a ‘can do’ approach to work. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Aspects of sales and purchase ledger
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Weekly bank reconciliations
  • Liaising with our sales team regarding overdue debtors and outstanding queries
  • Production and distribution of sales invoices
  • Posting daily cash and staff expenses
  • Processing employee expense claims and processing credit cards
  • Monthly assistance of payroll duties
  • Assisting the finance manager with monthly management accounts
  • General accounts administration and ad-hoc duties
Required Skills and Experience:
  • At least two years’ experience within similar roles.
  • Able to efficiently manage a high-volume workload.
  • Sage and Microsoft Excel proficient.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and organised.
  • Able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
