Accounts & Payroll Assistant

Currently recruiting for an Accounts & Payroll Assistant with a highly successful business who have been in operation for over 20 years, and are continuing to invest into their future as they continue to grow.

Salary: up to £34k, 25 days holidays, company pension, healthcare and study support

Role:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Experience:

  • Experience gained within a similar Accounts / Payroll role is essential
  • AAT qualified highly desirable. Study support on offer for future CIMA/ACCA studies
  • Hands on, keen to learn and develop
  • Strong communication skills
