The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Plumber to join our award winning client based in Bolton, Manchester. Working on commercial projects across the UK, this role involves nationwide travel, and occasional overnight stays may be required (enhanced pay applies). You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial buildings such as football grounds, offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, heating, and sanitation systems.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

  • Carry out pipework installations, including copper, steel, and plastic pipework, using appropriate methods such as soldering, brazing, and press-fitting.

  • Install and commission commercial boilers, radiators, and heating systems.

  • Work on hot and cold water systems, ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Conduct fault-finding and repairs on plumbing and heating systems.

  • Carry out testing and inspections to ensure system efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

  • Install and maintain sanitary ware, fixtures, and appliances such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters.

  • Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure seamless project completion.

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a commercial plumber working on large-scale projects.

  • Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, including heating, drainage, and pressurized water systems.

  • Experience with various piping materials (copper, steel, plastic) and installation techniques.

  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings and schematics.

  • CSCS card (preferred but not essential).

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent)

  • Gas Safe qualification (desirable but not required).

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away when required.
