The School and Role

A brilliant and inclusive primary school, their school places a strong emphasis on behaviour and environment for learning, particularly through interests, active and engaging activities, and developing a love for lifelong reading.

They are seeking a enthusiastic and energetic Year 6 Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Key Stage 2 and be enthusiastic about promoting reading for pleasure among young learners. As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in laying the foundation for our students' academic success and helping them develop a love for learning that will last a lifetime.

Requirement

To be considered for the role as a Primary Supply Teacher, you will: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, able to present a curriculum that is demanding, stimulating and sustaining pupils interest.
  • Attend and take part in additional CPD sessions.
  • Enhanced and varied classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • Supply and participating and interactive lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of pupils and encourage a love of learning.
  • Actively record, assess and monitor progress and adapt based on a well-rounded view.
