Prospero Teaching would like to recruit a Key Stage 2 TA for a large, successful primary school in Salford. This KS2 TA role is to provide general support for children at all ability levels across the curriculum, and interventions for children with SEN.

This is a great position for someone who is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all areas of the curriculum, and enjoys taking responsibility for children's learning and development in the classroom. It is a varied role where you will be required, as KS2 TA, to be involved in all aspects of class management and behaviour management, and develop an effective working partnership with the class teacher.

The KS2 Teaching Assistant is required from January and this is an ongoing role, continuing for the full spring and summer terms. The daily rate is £85 to £100, depending on experience.

Essential requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant qualification and experience
  • Professional references covering the last two full years
  • Experience working in a UK Primary School
