Teaching Assistant - Bolton:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join an excellent Primary School in Bolton. This role is full time. To be successful in this role you must be comfortable working in small groups or on a 1-2-1 basis. This role will suit an experienced teaching assistant, with excellent curriculum knowledge and effective communication skills. If you are interested, please apply now!
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with SEN in small groups or on a 1-2-1 basis
- Encouraging positive behaviour and learning
- Supervising pupils during break and lunchtime
- Communicating with staff, students and parents
Position Details:
- Location: Bolton
- Role: Primary Teaching Assistant
- Hours: 8:30am-4:15pm
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
- Type of work: Temporary
- Full time/part time: Full time only
- Minimum rate of pay: 110 per day dependant on experience
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or an equivalent qualification
- Up to date Safeguarding training in the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
- Previous experience working with children of primary school age
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
