My client is currently recruiting for a Project Manager which is part of the NPI & Projects team responsible for managing Project activities and driving the project management framework for the end-to-end delivery of projects in a timely manner, and ensuring delivery follows my clients governance process.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include:
- Full Project Life Cycle Project Management (Project Recover, NPI, NPD, ECR)
- Interpreting and understanding key deliverables, and communicating these to the team.
- Working within my clients Project Framework for product development.
- Ensuring discipline to project processes are followed and correct authorisation is applied.
- Managing full project life cycle for product development and continuous improvement.
- Acting as the project authority and driving the delivery of projects.
- Ensuring the projects meet relevant KPIs or other requirements.
- Co-ordinating with and ensuring the needs of stakeholders are included within projects.
- Mitigating risks and escalating issues to senior management.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- +5 years full time Project Management experience
- +10 working within Engineering and Manufacturing environment
- Experience with waterfall AND agile project management methodologies
- Inhouse development, engineering and manufacturing of product that include Mechanical, Electrical and Software parts
- Responsibility for full project lifecycle from concept to market delivery and support
- Professional project management qualifications: E.g. Prince2 practitioner, APM PMQ, PMP, etc
- Engineering/manufacturing degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering/manufacturing discipline or equivalent experience
- Equivalent of ILM Level 3
- Budget definition and control
- Leader of cross functional core teams
- Engineering (HW, SW, Electrical Mechanical, Production, Procurement, MRP Coordinator, Project Engineer, Quality)
- MS Project, Office 365, SharePoint, Visio, Jira, Azure DevOps
