Mpeople are currently working with a large UK manufacturer and supply company who due to growth are expanding the purchasing team. Salary £22,300 - £24,300. Hours Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Purchasing Administrator Duties:
- Good receipting material, matching, and checking in goods received to orders on the system.
- Arrange collections and credits of faulty items.
- Booking in orders from all delivery notes.
- Loading new products onto the system.
- Manage and control purchasing inventory accuracy checks.
- Keep updated records in line with current systems.
- Identifying continuous improvements and report to the Manager.
- Prevent overstocking and out of stocks by working closely with the Purchasing Manager.
- Following up on orders and deliveries to prevent delays.
- Assisting in monitoring supplier performance.
- Comply with Health and Safety.
Purchasing Administrator Requirements:
- Experience of working in a similar role is desirable but not necessary as training will be given to the right person.
- You will need to be numerate, have good problem-solving skills with excellent communication skills.
- Must have good relationship building skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst having the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Knowledge of ERP/ CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Systems desirable but not required as training will be given.
- Required able to work to deadlines and targets.
