Description

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll manage commercial and financial aspects of large-scale refurbishment and new build projects, ensuring they're delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. Projects include:

  • Social housing refurbishments - improving existing homes to meet modern living standards
  • SHDF works - delivering energy-efficient solutions to reduce carbon footprints
  • New build developments - creating high-quality, affordable housing for communities

You'll balance time between the office, home, and on-site to keep projects running smoothly.

Profile

We're seeking a proactive and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor with experience in social housing or refurbishment projects. You'll need:

  • Strong understanding of cost management, valuations, and variations
  • Knowledge of social housing frameworks and public sector contracts
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A keen eye for value engineering and ensuring profitability
