Job Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing costs related to construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed within budget while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders and contracts.

  • Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.

  • Managing project budgets and preparing regular reports to monitor expenditure.

  • Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks.

  • Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and resolving disputes amicably.

  • Conducting site visits to evaluate progress and resolve any contractual and cost issues.

  • Collaborating with the project team and providing financial guidance and support.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within construction or building services.

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and numerical skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods and materials.

  • Familiarity with construction contract management and procurement strategies.

  • Proficiency in using cost management software and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, able to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
