Harvey McQueen has an outstanding reputation in the recruitment industry and is looking for hard working and enthusiastic recruitment consultants to join our rapidly expanding team.

We are currently seeking an Experienced Recruitment Consultant to work for Harvey McQueen who operates nationally across the UK.

This role will involve:

  • Daily sales calls
  • Dealing with both potential and active clients over the telephone. And on client visits
  • Taking comprehensive job specifications
  • Advising clients on current salary and recruitment trends
  • Writing professional and lawful job specifications
  • Designing and placing recruitment advertisements
  • Interviewing potential candidates both face to face and over the telephone
  • Organising interviews with clients and candidates
  • Sourcing potential candidates from job websites
  • Close matching of candidates to jobs
  • Sending out information letters and e mails
  • Providing feedback to both clients and candidates
  • All related administration tasks

The role requires someone who is motivated, adaptable and can multi task easily without feeling pressured. The ideal candidate will also need to have excellent organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to learn quickly and think on their feet.

Previous sales experience is essential and previous experience in the recruitment industry would be desirable, however, a professional manner, a 'can do' attitude and flexibility towards working hours are much more important.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday - 8.30a.m. - 5.00p.m. (Early finish on Friday at 3.00p.m)

Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.
