Days and late shift
Our client is looking to recruit a Commercial vehicle inspector to join their Bus Presentation Team in Bolton. You will be mechanically minded and able to carry out minor repair to vehicles. This will not be mechanical breakdowns so no qualifications required
YOU MUST HOLD A FULL UK LICENCE TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE.
Shift pattern - 5 days over 7 will include weekend work
We are looking to speak to candidates who have ideally worked within the Commercial Automotive sector but we are open to speaking to candidates who are local to Bolton, have a full UK licence and are happy to work shift patterns.
This role would suit someone who has worked as a HGV shunter / PDI inspector / motor mechanic / Workshop assistant / Driver.
Duties & responsibilities of a Shunter / Cleaner:
- Maintenance on vehicles
- Minor repairs i.e. changing bulbs, changing wiper blades, wing mirror repair
- Attending breakdowns
- Inputting and reading jobs via computer system
- Assisting in the Workshop
Training & qualification Shunter / Cleaner:
No formal qualifications are needed but we need you to pass our medical and hold a full car driving licence.
