As a named supplier on 17 national frameworks, including both NHS SBS and CCS for AV and IT solutions, they continue to grow through delivering cutting-edge solutions that drive results.
They are now seeking a driven and self-motivated Key Account Manager to join their internal sales team in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about building strong client relationships, managing the full sales cycle, and contributing to long-term business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and nurture long-term relationships with key client accounts
Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to ensure satisfaction and retention
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the client base
Deliver strategic account plans aligned with client objectives and business targets
Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing and contract renewals
Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert knowledge on product offerings and industry trends
Coordinate with internal teams including marketing, product, procurement, and support to ensure seamless delivery
Monitor and report on key account metrics, including sales performance and client satisfaction
Resolve client issues promptly by coordinating with technical and support teams
Provide feedback to inform internal product development and service enhancements
Maintain detailed and accurate records of client activity and sales forecasting
Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
Develop strategies to grow accounts, reduce churn, and increase overall customer loyalty
Proven experience managing B2B accounts, ideally in the technology or service sector
Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of the sales cycle from lead generation through to close
A customer-first mindset with a focus on value delivery
Ability to handle complex client needs and propose effective, solution-led approaches
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organised and able to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
Technically confident with the ability to explain solutions in a clear and engaging way
Proactive and results-driven with a keen eye for growth opportunities
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
