Design and Technology teacher - Bolton - October start Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified, passionate and dedicated teacher of Design and Technology to join a secondary school in Bolton from after the October half term holiday, until the Easter break in April 2025. The role will be full time, and it is essential that you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching in the Design and Technology department at a secondary school. The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management. You will also need to be available to attend parents evenings, and departmental meetings as and when required. You will be required to teach across the department, please inform us of your specialism. graphics, food technology, resistant materials & construction. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Bolton Position Design and Technology Teacher Start date October 2024 End date April 2025 Full time Minimum rate of pay GBP162.31 per day Hours 8:30AM 4:00PM EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school Subject specific teaching experience Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided) Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) Up to date FGM & Behaviour management training (essential, however, training can be provided) Design and Technology UK Teaching experience desired TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one Provide two professional references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV today.
