We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school with a diverse student body of around 1,000 pupils and a team of over 100 supportive staff members.

This role is to start in January 2025 until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to go permanent too!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love for the subject.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in accordance with curriculum standards.
  • Provide tailored support to students of varying abilities, ensuring all pupils reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Maths curriculum.
  • Actively participate in school activities and contribute to the wider school community.


The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.).
  • Have a strong subject knowledge of Maths and experience teaching at the secondary level.
  • Be committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Be passionate about professional development and continuous learning.
