Plan and coordinate transport schedules to ensure the timely delivery of goods
Optimise routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Work closely with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
Manage drivers with their loads and start times etc
Monitor and address any delivery issues or disruptions
Maintain accurate records and reports on transport activities
Comply with all transport legislation, reducing tacho-graph infringement to be below the company targets

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in transport planning or logistics (preferred)
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks
Proficient in using transport management software
Flexible and able to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern
