Sennen Education are working with excellent Special Needs School in Bolton. This school is seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic individual who has UK experience as both a Support Worker and or Teaching Assistant, who has previous experience working with children with SEND needs.

The role will entail working with a range of students with complex needs aged from 3 - 19 on both a one-to-one and small group work basis, inside and outside of the classroom. This is an independent special needs school for children who have an EHCP (Educational Health Care Plan) for pupils with significant physical impairment, complex health needs, learning disability and/or Austistic Spectrum Conditions. The role will require assistance with personal care. 

To be successful in this role as Learning Support Assistant you will need:

  • A minimum of six weeks UK experience of supporting young people which you can evidence with references.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to pay for a new one)
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Provide a CV with up to date employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
