Job Title: Family Hub Practitioner Position: Temporary on goingLocation: Across Family Hubs in Bolton Start: ASAPSalary: From £14+ per hourTo work as part of the Family Hub workforce and contribute to the delivery of the universal Start for Life and wider Family Hub offer, delivering a range of preventative evidence-based interventions and support services to families, aligned to the Greater Manchester Early Years Delivery Model integrated pathways. Act as a key contact for all families within the Family Hub, helping them to understand the support that is available to them and share information to support new and expectant parents/carers during their transition to parenthood. Essential Requirements:

  • Have a thorough knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and how this relates to children’s development and learning in practice.
  • Ability to develop and implement programmes and activities for children with additional needs, disabilities or behavioural issues, and to monitor, evaluate and report on their progress.
  • To be able to support and guide parents/carers to identify factors at the earliest stage that impact on their child’s early learning; including Perinatal Mental Health, Parent-Infant Relationship, Infant Feeding, Parenting Support, and Home Learning Environment/Early Communication and Language Development.
  • Level 3 Qualification relating to education and child care is desirable
  • Driving license is required due to travelling to different family hubs
  • Adult and Childs DBS or willingness to get one.
