Qualified Social Worker, Community Learning Disability TeamPay rate - £30 per hourVitalis are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work in a Community Learning Disability team in Bolton.Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with learning disabilities?Bolton Council is currently seeking dedicated Adults Social Workers to join a multi-agency Community Learning Disability Team and Intensive Support Team.We are offering the opportunity to join a focused and dynamic team who are involved in the assessment and development of a wider range of services in Bolton to meet the current and future needs of local people who have a learning disability.We are a large multidisciplinary team involved in complex areas of work and so there are many opportunities to be involved in formal decision making forums and court processes.We are looking to recruit 2 enthusiastic and motivated individuals who have a passion for working with adults with Learning Disabilities, understanding their needs, aspirations and supporting them to enhance their quality of life. The work will involve working with adults with a learning disability within the community to assess and support plan, as well as working with individuals with a learning disability whose needs present as a risk of significant harm to self, or others. This may include individuals who have offending histories, who have, or are at risk of having contact with the Criminal Justice System, or at risk of admission to hospital or in out of borough placements due to the complexities of their needs. You will have the ability to develop and maintain relationships with team members, external organisations, service users and carers.
