Bolton Require a HOS for Safeguarding/DoLs for South Neighbourhood Team Direct Staffing Reports - responsibilities for Adult Social Work Service/Teams3 days on site and 2 days hybridTo assist the Assistant Director Adult Social Care Operations & Integration to do everything possible to ensure the Department fulfils its statutory duties and CQC assurance both effectively and efficiently; within this to manage and improve Adult Social Work and the delivery of Social Care and Community Health services.1 To be responsible for the management, assessment and planning of needs led services in accordance with legislation, national and local policies and best practice including the protection and safeguarding of Children and Adults.

2 To manage change in within services, system and the Directorate activities.

3 To be responsible for establishing strategies to manage and guide the work of the service. 4 To manage, evaluate and improve service and team performance.

5 To manage and sustain relationships with health services and promote integrated ways of working within our neighbourhoods. Develop and contribute to joint working with primary care and health colleagues to ensure the delivery of an integrated partnership approach. 6 To ensure the specialist, primary and secondary care health needs of people with needs continue to be (are) integral to future service design. 7 To provide advice and leadership to operational managers in discarding of their statutory safeguarding duties and provide support to partners by providing support and guidance on safeguarding whist overseeing continuous improvement in service delivery. 8 To carry out and support the management of Safeguarding Adult Reviews on before of Bolton Safeguarding Partnership and implement any action plans and learning.
