Approved Mental Health Professional - EDT (hybrid)Location: Bury, also covering Rochdale out of hours Working arrangements: 6 months, 3-week rolling rota (1 weekend off every 3 weeks)Up to £40 per hour Spencer Clarke Group are working with the Emergency Duty Team (EDT) covering Bury and Rochdale to find an experienced and dedicated AMHP to join their teamAs an AMHP in the Emergency Duty Team, you will be responsible for carrying out Mental Health Act (MHA) assessments, providing mental health advice, and delivering adult social care during out-of-hours periods.You will work as part of a collaborative and well-supported team, receiving both managerial and peer support in a role that involves significant responsibility.Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to professionals in mental health and social care contexts, offering support on complex cases.
  • Work with other emergency services, such as police and healthcare providers, to respond to critical mental health situations and crisis interventions
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records for each case, ensuring the documentation meets all professional and legal requirements.
  • Assess adults in need of social care and put plans into place for necessary interventions.
