?? Position: Attendance and Welfare Officer?? Location: A Bolton School?? Salary: Up to £110 per day?? Schedule: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 1:30 pm?? Duration: Long-term temporary vacancy with the potential to go permanent

?? Role Overview:

As an Attendance and Welfare Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the well-being and attendance of our students. You will be responsible for monitoring and improving student attendance, as well as liaising with parents and guardians to ensure a supportive environment for student welfare.

Your duties will include:

  • Monitoring and managing student attendance, ensuring accurate records are maintained
  • Liaising with parents and carers regularly to address attendance issues and build strong relationships
  • Using SIMS (or other school management systems) to track attendance data and produce reports
  • Supporting students with welfare concerns and referring them to appropriate services where necessary
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to student welfare and school attendance policies
?? Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous administrative experience within a school environment is essential
  • Knowledge of SIMS (School Information Management System) or other similar management systems is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive and positive approach to promoting student attendance and well-being
