Job Type: Part-Time 18.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessments: Contribute to risk assessments and protect children and young people from danger, harm, and abuse.
- Intervention Planning: Plan and record interventions effectively, supporting and contributing to the overall assessment held by referring social care teams.
- Quality Interventions: Deliver quality interventions within the Framework for Action parenting capacity guidance.
- Child Development Support: Offer support and evidence-based interventions around child development using EYFS (Early Years Framework Strategy) guidance and behaviour management strategies.
- Family Partnership: Work in partnership with families on protection plans in their own homes, where appropriate.
- Professional Communication: Communicate and work with a range of professionals and agencies, ensuring a seamless service for children and families, managing, and providing information to support effective decision-making.
- Collaboration with Social Workers: Work alongside social workers, contributing to assessments and care plans.
- Escort Services: Escort children and families as appropriate.
- Case Load Management: Manage a case load effectively, delivering and reporting on agreed work tasks.
- Mentorship: Support, mentor, and supervise students and volunteers across a range of service delivery.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties in line with the post, which may be required from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant qualifications in social care or a related field.
- Experience working with children, young people, and families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professionals.
- Knowledge of EYFS and behaviour management strategies.
- Ability to manage a case load effectively.
