About Us: We are dedicated to supporting children, young people, and their families. Our team works collaboratively to ensure the safety, development, and well-being of those we serve. We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Family Time Workers to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Risk Assessments: Contribute to risk assessments and protect children and young people from danger, harm, and abuse.
  2. Intervention Planning: Plan and record interventions effectively, supporting and contributing to the overall assessment held by referring social care teams.
  3. Quality Interventions: Deliver quality interventions within the Framework for Action parenting capacity guidance.
  4. Child Development Support: Offer support and evidence-based interventions around child development using EYFS (Early Years Framework Strategy) guidance and behaviour management strategies.
  5. Family Partnership: Work in partnership with families on protection plans in their own homes, where appropriate.
  6. Professional Communication: Communicate and work with a range of professionals and agencies, ensuring a seamless service for children and families, managing, and providing information to support effective decision-making.
  7. Collaboration with Social Workers: Work alongside social workers, contributing to assessments and care plans.
  8. Escort Services: Escort children and families as appropriate.
  9. Case Load Management: Manage a case load effectively, delivering and reporting on agreed work tasks.
  10. Mentorship: Support, mentor, and supervise students and volunteers across a range of service delivery.
  11. Additional Duties: Perform any other duties in line with the post, which may be required from time to time.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant qualifications in social care or a related field.
  • Experience working with children, young people, and families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professionals.
  • Knowledge of EYFS and behaviour management strategies.
  • Ability to manage a case load effectively.
