Social Worker - Family Safeguarding

About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding team in Bolton, Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with vulnerable children and families and make a real difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks.
- Develop and implement support plans to safeguard children and promote their welfare.
- Work with other agencies to coordinate services and ensure a multi-agency approach.
- Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings.
- Provide advice and guidance to families and carers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work
- Registration with Social Work England
- Experience working with children and families
- Knowledge of child protection legislation and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience working in a family safeguarding team
- Knowledge of the local area
- Experience working with diverse communities
