Social Worker - Assessments, specialising in Child Assessment and Family Assessment, required in Castle Hill, Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council UK. Earn a generous £37.00 per hour as an hourly rate for this rewarding 3-month assignment. What you will do:
- Carry out home visits to gather crucial information, establishing any safeguarding concerns through initial child and family needs assessments.
- Undertake s47 enquiries, including coordination of statutory meetings and concluding cases if no further action is necessary.
- Provide short-term interventions, liaising with other teams to pass cases or assessments forward effectively.
- Engage in statutory processes within the courts, taking necessary action to protect children, such as applying for Emergency Protection Orders and initiating Care Proceedings.
- Cover duty rota, providing frontline social work services with the flexibility to meet the urgent needs of the service effectively.
