We specialise in both temporary and permanent staffing solutions within the education and residential sectors, prioritising quality over short-term supply services.

Position Overview:

We are seeking passionate, dynamic, and qualified Nurture Teachers to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will hold a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and will have a strong understanding of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As an Nurture Teacher, you will be committed to making a significant and positive difference in the lives of students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted, personalised interventions to support students with SEMH and SEND, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that motivates and encourages students to thrive.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to implement and review Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) where necessary.
  • Regularly monitor, assess, and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure continued development.
  • Engage in community outreach activities to promote inclusivity and strengthen support for students and their families.
  • Provide weekly progress reports for students involved in our outreach programme.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • PGCE with QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Experience in supporting students with SEMH and SEND needs is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to teaching and learning.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in response to the evolving needs of students.

Additional Information:

This role requires an Enhanced DBS Certificate. If you have a current DBS certificate on the update service, this would be preferred, though not mandatory.

  • Flexitime (no weekends required)
