SEN KS3 Teacher required for a long-term job in Bolton

We are currently working with a large SEN school in Bolton, Greater Manchester to recruit an experienced KS3 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible on an ongoing basis. The school are ideally looking for an experienced teacher with previous experience teaching KS3 and supporting children with complex SEN needs, including Autism. The school would ideally like someone to start in March 2025 but will consider teachers available to start in April. You will be teaching a class of 9 pupils and be supported by two experienced teaching assistants.Your new school

You will be working in an 11-18 school for pupils with autism, speech, language, social and communication difficulties. The school and staff take pride in creating a calm, bright, inviting environment for children to learn and develop.

Your new role

You will plan, resource and deliver creative lessons which are differentiated for children of all abilities. You will also work closely with your colleagues and the senior leadership team to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the school. You will have access to excellent resources and facilities, as well as ongoing professional development and support.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have previous experience teaching in an SEN setting. The school are looking for a teacher who is passionate and engaging who can join a team of like-minded teachers who have a positive impact on the pupils they teach. To be considered for this role, it is essential that you hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have relevant and recent experience within a classroom setting. Experienced teachers are desirable, but applications from ECT's/NQTs will also be considered. The role is subject to satisfactory references and enhanced DBS disclosure.What you'll get in return
