Empowering Learning is seeking a Sports Coach for a vibrant school in Bolton that supports children with SLD, PMLD, autism, and complex needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and planning sports sessions, promoting healthy diets, and encouraging proactive learning among students.
Experience working with special needs children is preferred, and a strong passion for creating an inclusive environment is essential.
The role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
The position is full-time from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, offering a salary of £85-£96 per day, with no specific year of experience required.

Sports Coach

Empowering Learning are working closely with a vibrant school in Bolton supporting children and young people who struggle with with SLD, PMLD, autism and complex need. The ideal candidate should be hands on and confident in delivering sports sessions (PE) to children and young people.

Your Role

As a Sports Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children in their academic and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:

-Delivering and planning sports sessions to various age groups including (Warmer/Main activity/ Cool down) MUST have experience

-Promoting a healthy and balanced diet

-Encouraging young people with their proactive learning

- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create tailored learning plans.

- Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

- Experience working with special needs children is preferred but not essential.

- Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
