Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

Our Client is a leading name within the Health & Safety / Compliance sector, who are seeking a dynamic Health & Safety / Fire Risk Assessor in the North West region. You will be covering a mix of Commercial, Industrial and Local Authority client sites in order to assess sites for risks and areas in which to implement Health & Safety procedures. The company is a professional and busy outfit, with a strong UK-wide presence, who can offer fantastic training and progression for hardworking applicants. Locations of work include: Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Stalybridge, Stockport, Wilmslow, Altrincham, Lymm, Warrington, Runcorn, Ellesmere Port, St Helens, Wigan, Prescot, Liverpool, Skelmersdale, Formby, Southport, Chorley, Blackburn, Preston, Blackpool, Clitheroe, Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have a successful track record working as a Health & Safety / Fire Risk Assessor
- Will ideally hold relevant Health & Safety / Fire Risk qualifications
- Holding the GradIOSH or CMIOSH would be beneficial but not essential
- Ideally with have experience working within a consultancy
- Robust industry technical knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable in Client-facing interactions
- Proficient with writing bespoke reports as well as using IT applications

The Role:
- Undertaking Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments across a mixed portfolio of Commercial, Industrial and Local Authority Client sites
- Collate bespoke risk assessment reports for Clients, giving a thorough overview of findings and actionable items
- Discussing findings and remedying steps directly with Clients, and providing technical advice
- Investigating incidents and following up to implement procedure changes
- Conducting Health & Safety training on-site for Clients
- Ensuring to maintain personal knowledge of industry guidelines
- Travelling as per company requirements
