- Oversee the delivery, quality, and performance of Nacro's Work Ready pathway, externally funded programmes, and/or Induction programme within the centre. Share and implement best practices across Nacro's education provision.
- Provide high-quality teaching and learning for a diverse group of learners, primarily those on Study Programmes, including 16-18-year-olds and students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Conduct thorough initial assessments for all students enrolling on Nacro Education programmes to ensure their needs are met and they are placed on the appropriate course to support their progression, achievement, and prior learning.
- Design, plan, and deliver a curriculum that aligns with the Education Inspection Framework (EIF), awarding body requirements, and Nacro's curriculum and quality standards.
- Collaborate with external partners and referral organisations to ensure learners are placed on programmes that match their individual needs and future goals.
- Develop effective learning resources, facilities, and environments that foster excellent teaching and learning, prepare learners for employment or further education, and contribute to broader good practices within the team and directorate.
- Facilitate work placements for learners within their chosen industry specialism, ensuring that experiences are documented and reflected upon in placement journals and Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
