Sonic Summary

The position is for a Welder located in Bolton, Wigan, Greater Manchester.
The salary is £16.85 per hour for the permanent day shift and £21.06 per hour for the permanent afternoon shift.
Candidates must have experience in coded welding processes such as TIG, MIG, MAG, FCAW, and SAW, and be able to weld thicknesses from 8 to 50mm.
An NVQ, City & Guilds, or BTEC Engineering qualification is required, along with the ability to work from engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
Applicants must successfully complete a T Fillet and V butt test and pass a drugs and alcohol test prior to being offered a position.

Location : Bolton, Wigan, Greater Manchester

Hours :

Permanent Day Shift @ 16.85 per hour

06.45 - 15:15 Monday to Thursday.

06:45 - 14:15 Friday

Permanent Afternoon Shift @ 21.06 per hour

15:00 - 00:00 Monday to Thursday.

Processes

Coded welding in TIG/MIG/MAG/FCAW/SAW.

Weld thicknesses from 8 - 50mm, which are capable of passing Visual, MPI and UT.

Working from engineering drawings with minimum supervision.

Qualifications:

NVQ, City & Guilds or BTEC Engineering qualification - with valid certificate copy to be shown.

Recruitment Process

You will be required to successfully complete a T Fillet and V butt in the downhand and vertical up positions

You must be able to pass a drugs and alcohol test before being offered a position.
