Key Responsibilities

As a successful child residential support worker, you will:

  • Collaborate effectively with a team of child support workers
  • Provide 24-hour care to vulnerable young people
  • Support service users with early trauma and emotional behavioural difficulties
  • Accompany service users to community activities and school daily
  • Uphold professional boundaries and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Adhere to National Care Standards
  • Work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, bank holidays, and the Christmas period

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should:

  • Have prior experience working in a residential setting with young people
  • Demonstrate flexibility in your role
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Be registered under the PVG scheme
  • Hold a full driving licence
