Description
- Oversee the visa compliance process to ensure adherence to all relevant immigration rules and regulations.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to the wider HR team on visa-related matters.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
- Train and mentor staff to ensure understanding and adherence to compliance procedures.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure visa considerations are factored into the hiring process.
- Conduct regular audits to review compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Keep abreast of changes in immigration law and adapt policies accordingly.
- Manage and develop relationships with external bodies, including the Home Office.
Profile
A successful Visa Compliance Business Partner should have:
- A strong understanding of immigration laws and visa procedures.
- Experience in a compliance role within the Human Resources sector.
- A proven track record of implementing and managing compliance procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex regulations.
- A proactive approach to staying updated with changes in the immigration landscape.
