Your new firmAn established firm based in Liverpool are seeking to recruit a Client Manager to join their growing team. This firm provides a full range of compliance and audit services to their clients which range from smaller owner managed businesses to large groups but consist mostly of SME and OMB's. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking to take on responsibility, further their professional development and support clients on an advisory basis within a firm that promotes a supportive and collaborative culture.

Your new roleAs Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients including small and medium sized privately owned businesses comprising sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will manage the bookkeeping, VAT, management and year-end accounts for clients. You will provide a high-quality accountancy service to clients, answering and resolving any queries. You will work as part of an efficient team and assist with the training and development of junior members of staff.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working within practice and will ideally be studying towards an accountancy qualification such as ACCA/ACA/AAT. You will need experience completing accounts and VAT as well as knowledge of IT systems including Iris, CCH, Sage, Quickbooks and Xero. You will need skills such as planning and organisation to be able to assist clients effectively. You will also need good communication and problem-solving abilities to succeed in this role.
