Reed A&F have recently partnered up with a fantastic growing business who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. The right candidate will possess all of the experience listed below and will be in a position to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accounts team, ensuring efficient processing of supplier invoices from receipt to payment.
  • Serve as the main contact for administrative inquiries and delegate tasks as needed.
  • Manage the timely issuance of sales invoices and credits, and reconcile statements with vendor accounts.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for client databases, business partners, and documentation.
  • Motivate and monitor team performance, identify training needs, and provide coaching.
  • Generate statistical and written reports for management using available media and software.
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures in line with the Employee Manual.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients and customers, ensuring courteous and prompt responses to inquiries.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and maintain an organized office environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with employees, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines to ensure smooth office operations.

Essential Skills:

  • Educated to GCSE A level or equivalent with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • GCSE grades A to C in Maths and English.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, particularly in an office environment.
  • Proficient in IT with the ability to use various software packages relevant to the role.
  • Capable of delivering verbal, analytical, and written reports to senior managers.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Good understanding of employee and customer relations, including data protection knowledge.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to the business’s evolving needs.
  • Full, clean driving license.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Accredited training in mediation and dispute resolution.
  • Proven experience in data collection and analysis.
