A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Senior Estimator to join their team in Liverpool.
The main objective of the role is to deliver pre-construction support across a portfolio of framework and one-off projects for a specialist business unit.
Key duties will include:
- Assessing bid opportunities leading to a bid / no-bid review including assessing key project data and client criteria.
- Checking the accuracy and completeness of clients tender documents, as well as reviewing tender documentation and determining a projects technical requirements.
- Assessing and evaluating any project risks and potential problems.
- Responsible for the overall estimate of project cost based upon client specification and technical requirements.
- Assisting in the technical and estimating element of preparation of tender and quotations from specification and drawings within defined time periods.
- Assisting in the preparation of tender submission, as well as assisting in post tender presentations and meetings with the client.

Candidate Requirements
- Our client is looking for Senior Estimators looking for a career move. They are also keen on seeing experienced Estimators looking for career progression.
- Minimum of 5+ years' estimating experience delivering pre-construction activities within the utilities, electrical, or general civil engineering sectors.
- Any experience working for or with Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) is desirable, however not essential.
