About the Job:
We are currently seeking experienced Tug Drivers to join our team at Liverpool Docks. This role is crucial to the efficient movement of cargo and containers across the site. You will be responsible for operating a tug to transport containers and materials safely and efficiently within the dockyard. This is a temporary position with an hourly rate, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of tug vehicles within the dock.
- Moving cargo and containers as required.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations.
About the Person:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid Tug Driver's licence.
- Previous experience working in a port or similar environment.
- A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- The ability to work well under pressure in a busy operational setting.
- Flexibility with working hours to meet operational needs.
