This is a vital role for a Visa Compliance Business Partner in the Human Resources department to ensure the company meets its responsibilities as a sponsor of non-EU nationals. The position requires a candidate who can effectively guide and support the wider HR team, ensuring all compliance responsibilities are met.

Description

  • Oversee the visa compliance process to ensure adherence to all relevant immigration rules and regulations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the wider HR team on visa-related matters.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Train and mentor staff to ensure understanding and adherence to compliance procedures.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure visa considerations are factored into the hiring process.
  • Conduct regular audits to review compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Keep abreast of changes in immigration law and adapt policies accordingly.
  • Manage and develop relationships with external bodies, including the Home Office.

Profile

A successful Visa Compliance Business Partner should have:

  • A strong understanding of immigration laws and visa procedures.
  • Experience in a compliance role within the Human Resources sector.
  • A proven track record of implementing and managing compliance procedures.
