About the Role:
Our client, a leading company in the lifting and crane services industry, is looking for an experienced Mobile Crane Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Bootle. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with a strong mechanical and electrical background to work on the maintenance, repair, and servicing of mobile cranes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on mobile cranes.
Perform planned maintenance to ensure optimal crane performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Work closely with the operations team to minimize downtime and ensure cranes are operating efficiently.
Provide emergency breakdown support and attend call-outs as required.
Keep accurate records of all work completed and parts used.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Crane Engineer, particularly with mobile cranes.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and mechanical systems.
Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
