Compliance Officer

Location: Liverpool
Salary: £24,000 per annum 

Are you detail-oriented, organised  and passionate about ensuring compliance? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a training college in Liverpool for a compliance officer, where you will play a pivotal role in auditing documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and verify student records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual standards.
  • Maintain and manage accurate audit trails and project documentation.
  • Support teams with compliance queries, offering clear guidance on processes and requirements.
  • Prepare for audits by ensuring all student and project-related documentation is comprehensive and meets funding guidelines.
  • Investigate and resolve queries related to student eligibility and documentation.
  • Update and manage data systems to support accurate reporting and performance monitoring.
  • Perform administrative tasks to assist with contract management and compliance processes.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A detail-focused professional with experience in compliance, auditing, or document management.
  • Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in Excel, with the ability to handle data accurately.
  • Proven organisational and administrative capabilities, particularly in a regulated environment.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive self-starter who can work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with public funding contracts or educational compliance is highly desirable.
