Your new companyThis is a job in a primary school in Bootle. The school are looking for a qualified nursery nurse to join their staff as soon as possible and work in the school nursery. You will be expected to support the class teacher delivering the EYFS. You must be able to make learning play and encourage exploration through play.This is a two-form entry school, where the staff in the nursery and reception class work closely together with planning.The school are looking for a nursery nurse with;

  • An NNEB qualification/ NVQ level 3 in childcare and education or equivalent
  • Experience planning activities
  • A good understanding of the EYFS
  • Ability to make observations and monitor child development
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • A genuine enthusiasm to work with younger children
