A market leading company based in Bootle is seeking a skilled Machine Operatorto join their growing team.
Part of global group my client specialise in the manufacture and supply of award winning composite doors and fire doors for commercial and residential markets. The company is going from strength to strength with exciting growth plans for their UK site.
As a result of this they are growing their Machining team, and are seeking an addition Machine Operatorto join their growing team.
Your role will involve:
- Using machines such as beamsaws andedge banding machines etc to manufacture doors and accessory details
- Quality Assurance / Control
- Maintaining work areas to ensure safe and productive environment.
- Willingness to participate and promote better working practises and improvements.
- Focusing on producing a quality product, in line with the production planning schedule whilst ensuring targets are met
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Beamsaw, Edgeband and other similar machine experience ideal
- Wood or timber machining,furniture manufacture, kitchen manufacture or similarexperience would be very relevant
- Enthusiasm to help improve production processes
- Good communication skills
This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday, but will eventually be allocated to an afternoon shift of 14.00 - 22.00 once training is complete. You will be offered a good salary and package as well as the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company!
