We have a great opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician based in Bordon to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician

  • Install, repair and maintain all machines, tools, fixtures and equipment.
  • Prepare work instructions for all manufacturing process equipment.
  • Sort and consolidate waste materials including hazardous materials and waste.
  • Coordinate and prioritise work schedules and assignments.
  • Continuous Process Improvement.
  • Troubleshoot machinery breakdowns and repair or replace.
  • Plan, purchase supplies and install electrical service for new and/or relocated production machinery.
  • Calibrate tools, fixtures and equipment.

Requirements for a successful Maintenance Technician

  • ONC/HNC in Engineering discipline or equivalent with experience repairing and maintaining process machinery.
  • 5+ years of equipment and building maintenance experience.
  • COSHH certified.
  • Experience working with and handling hazardous waste.
  • Experience preparing work instructions.
  • Strong IT skills with experience using Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
