A prominent School is seeking a fully qualified teacher to join their team on a long-term contract basis. The role involves working with students across all educational stages, from Early Years to Further Education, with a focus on those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will be expected to start ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons across various subjects for students from Early Years through to Further Education.
  • Tailor and adapt learning strategies to support students with a range of SEN, ensuring their needs are effectively met.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, SEN specialists, and other staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Implement and manage individual education plans (IEPs) and employ diverse teaching methods to foster student development.
  • Track and report on student progress, providing feedback to parents, caregivers, and colleagues.
  • Stay current with educational best practices and SEN regulations.
Requirements:
  • Qualified teacher status with the capability to teach across all stages from Early Years to Further Education.
  • Proven experience working with SEN students.
  • Current/ Recent Enhanced DBS
  • Strong understanding of child development, inclusive teaching methods, and differentiated learning approaches.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Availability to start immediately or within a short timeframe.
Desirable:
  • Additional qualifications or experience in a SEN specialist setting.
  • Knowledge of contemporary SEN practices and educational approaches.
